Ugh...What a sad second in Nebraska Football history...*tear*

So yesterday was the Big 12 Championship for people who watch or follow college football. It was Nebraska vs Texas at Arlington in the Cowboy's stadium. Which was freakin' gorgeous! No wonder their food prices are SOOOOO HIGH!!!!

Anyways, everyone assumed Nebraska was going to lose big time and by at least 14 points. However, our defense kicked butt and held back Colt McCoy(ugh) >_< and they only got ONE touchdown on us!!! So HA! So yeah...last 1:40 seconds of the game Nebraska scores a field goal. It was 12-10 Nebraska winning. Unfortunately, the kick off kick was "out-of-bounds," then we got a horse-grab penalty. >_< So we got them into field goal range, BUT as the seconds dwindled McCoy threw his last ball out of bounds and it seemed the game was over and Nebraska created a BCS upset!

Apparently, as the clock ran out in the stadium and Husker fans were cheering, the "official game clock," said it had 1 second left of the game. There was an official announcement to put 1 second on the clock. So Texas got ONE last chance. They get a field goal kick which they make and Nebraska loses 12-13. ;_;

So very sad it was in the stadium.(BTW I was there.) The atmosphere was devastating. Grrrr! That one second!!!!! At least we played a football game. I can't really say that about Texas. >_< They really sucked it up against us!

Nebraska football players should realize they are a lot better than they think they are!

Well at least California is nice this time of year! See ya at the Holiday Bowl!!!!

Hopefully it's going to be a good game! Nebraska has been a little iffy on its defense and offense all season...and its a little annoying. >_< BUT this game decides who's going to be playing in the Big 12 Championship. Texas is already going to be in it...no matter what but if Kansas wins then they go but if we win the Nebraska goes! So hopefully the offense is on today and the black shirts don't crack in the 3rd quarter like they have been doing...

Was AWESOME!  I had a blast and it was fun to actually have it in a Hotel this year...even though it wasn't the greatest of hotels...and I had to miss most of the Husker football game...which we won!  Freakin' AWESOME!  BEAT OKLAHOMA!!!!

So yeah...the Ouran Tea Party was great!  Even though we had to wash about 124 plates and tea cups for the event.  >_< That was a little annoying.  I mean I knew we had to wash dishes before the panel but I didn't know it was going to be so many...O_o  Other than Yuri Lowentha (sp) and Tara Platt and Yuri's mom came to the panel.  They sat at the Twin's table (which was my sister and I were the twins hehehe).  But they were very nice and we had some good causual conversations.  The first half of the event was a private tea party and the second half was open to everyone to play games.  We had so many people.  We serve some AWESOME tea.  As in 'real' tea not instant.  Japanese Cherry Blossom, Almond Biscati, and Tierea Misu (sp) were the types we had.  Along with Lithuainian Torte and Tierea Misu.  Yes very classy and....kind of expensive but everyone loved it and we enjoyed putting it on for the con goers.

The Cosplay contest was awesome!   We won Best Drama...which we weren't really going for but we guessing that they needed something in that category and ours fit it...I guess?  Anyways that's our 5th win in a row!  Woot! On a roll...hopefully we can keep doing it!  ^_^  We did a Left 4 Dead spoof in the Anime World.  It was a lot of fun and we got to use blood and weapons...that weren't allowed actually at the con but only in performance so that was fun.

Then our Silent Hill Nurse costumes went off without a hit!  People always get a kick out of them, but I always think its more of a wow factor when you have a group of them.  Too bad we didn't have all six of us but four was still good. ^_^  Well that's all I want to say for right now...so have a good night!

So I probably won't be blogging on Halloween so I'm going to celebrate it here right now!  lol  ^o^

Anyways, I'm excited...though I don't really have a costume.  I'm just going to wear my raving outfit and be a raver.  It's all good!

So only a few people know how long I've been waiting and know what obstacles and challenges I have been through and he has been through.  Now FINALLY after 3 dates in a year...(yeah lots of obstacles that prevented us to do anything together) he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend!!!!!!!!   ^O^

So a few days ago the last chapter of Tsubasa Chronicles Manga came out and I read it.   Yeah SAD DAY!!!! THE LAST ONE!!!!!  WOW!!!!

Anyways....was I the only one confused? I won't spoil anything for anyone.  It was a good ending...I guess...but I'm confused about what happened...Maybe I'll just have to read the last 50 chapters again to understand it.

SO FREAK YEAH!!!!


Today was the 300 consecutive sellout of Husker Football!!!  The game was awesome.  The fans were great.  The team was great!  And so was the opposing team too!  ^_^

Gotta say was one of the funnest football games I've been too in the past 4 years.  ^^  I got the meet Elvis three times (because there were 3 different ones).  I took pictures with some hot college guys dressed as Spartans.  :3  Mmmm muscluar bodies FTW!!!!  Got ice cream, and free food!  Saw fireworks, watched Bo Pelini yell like he always does, make 86,000 fans sign Hey Baby  and so on....

Oh and we won 55-0...though we weren't playing against the greatest team...but at least it feels good to win after that shocking upset with VT last week.


Anyways...AWESOME GAME WAS AWESOME!!!!!

I was looking at some Hellsing fanart photos and it dawned on me that I really want to cosplay from Hellsing and yet I haven't yet.  So I've been thinking about which character I'd like to cosplay....there are four overall that I'd love to cosplay and make their outfits...though hopeuflly in the future I'll be able to do all four or at least the two that I really want to do.  And those are:

So those are the four that I would cosplay.  When talking with Miranda for sure I have to do young Walter because she's doing 'young' Alucard.  It's a good pairing.  ^^  And I guess I just wasted everyone's time making this post....oops.  Well I guess I am deciding if I want to do another one.  I'm trying to decide if I want Young Walter done by NebKon as well.  Though I probably wouldn't have the coffin.  ^^

Sorry for not posting in a long time.  School makes me too busy and I always forget to update things on the inter-webs.

So haven't updated in a while.  XP  Mostly its because school started again and already I have homework.  Already have to read 300 page book and write a 3 pg paper (which isn't bad) by tomorrow.  Gah that's a little annoying though.  Anyways, I just got my refund check in a the mail and now I'm loaded!!!! woot woot!

So Miranda and I are deciding which new cosplays we want to make/buy.  (We buy when we don't have time.  Like now)  Anyways, we've been planning a La Corda cosplay for a while now a few years actually and we think finally that we'll actually be doing those.  If anyone knows the show and will be happy.  ^o^

Also, we're stuck on what costume after that.  We already have Silent Hill nurses we're making because thats the only thing we can make since they don't take that long to make.  But knowing us we want to have something big and over the top.  Maybe Trinity Blood...we don't know..

Well that's all I have for now.  Time for me to finish my paper!

So this week starting earlier today I have Band Camp!!!  Woot!  Woot!  Nerdiness!!!!!  Anyways, don't expect me to answer anything on any forums I'm on and stuff since band basically takes my whole life away for a week.  It doesn't bother me that I'll have no life because I love band...except getting all sweaty in the heat and humidity.  ^o^''

So Miranda and I have been thinking about what kind of a skit we want to do for Nebraskon this year.  Well we want to try something different:

We want to perform this song (modified a little of course)  No spinning on heads for us xD

And now we're trying to figure out what kind of costumes we want to wear for it.

First we thought of the Four Links Since it would be cute to have Links dancing to Hot n Cold but it might be to random and we want girls dancing not crossdressing!  :P

So then we thought maybe Haruhi Shuzumyia(sp)?  The song is perfect for her but then Miranda and I would have to figure out what kind of costumes they would wear for a dance like this or make their school uniforms.

Then we laughed at Sailor Moon, since we thought it would be funny (idk why we did) but we won't be doing that.  ^_^'

Then there's Silent Hill Nurses but you can't dance in masks, high heels, and short dresses like that!  O_o 

There's MGS 4 girls we could do but the costumes aren't sexy enough I think for dancing (yes we're being picky for this skit)  But it would be really awesome too!

The last idea we had was females from different video games such as (Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, Soul Calibar, Metriod, Tomb Raider...etc)  But we don't know what we'd want to wear.  Do you guys have any suggestions as to what characters we could portray from any video game series that would go with this song and dance?  They all don't have to be from the same game we want to mix it up. 

Oh and there will be four of us performing if that helps too.  ^_^  Thanks guys

Or at least that's what I think!  >_<  So Miranda's (my sister) account got suspended on youtube this morning.  Apparently even after putting copyright ownership on music and anime's that she used in her AMVs, is not enough to prevent your account from being Copyright Infringment?!?!?!   WTF they (youtube) tells you how to prevent that from happening and they still go around and delete accounts because of it!

So ALL those videos Miranda had are gone now.  And there were some pretty damn good cosplay videos on there! Hopefully it's only suspended for a week.  *crosses fingers*  But they don't even give you a warning that they're going to delete your account.  THE LEAST THEY COULD DO is warn you that if you don't take a video down that they'll delete your account.

Seriously, an AMV (anime music video) that was fan made is copyright infringment?  So messed up. 

Well I'm just sitting at home watching Ninja Warrior and I'm bored.  So I decided to post.  ^_^

Did you know that 10 years ago from today is when the first episode of Digimon was ever aired!?!?!  Happy Anniversary!!! 

So yeah...Miranda and I have been playing Fable II for a week now and we just finished last night.  It was fun but actually a really short main story.  Oh well...I'll still play it.  ^^ 

3 weeks and school starts.  O_o  I don't want to go back to school...but I'm excited about football season!  Woot!  Woot!!

Mori and Huni are awesome!

So Monday Miranda and I bought an Xbox 360!  ^_^  Why because we wanted too.  :P  Mostly we have been deciding on if we wanted a 360 or a PS3 and the only reasons we could think of was because of two games.   The PS3 because of Metal Gear Solid 4 or the Xbox 360 because of Left 4 Dead.  ^_^  ...and after a long thought (no seriously) it took us a while to decide we got the 360!

The console came with Halo 3 and Fable II  which was awesome.  I don't play Halo but I've been wanting to play Fable and it's a lot of fun!  Left 4 Dead IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!  We haven't set up our Xbox Live account yet so we can't play online yet... :(  And I really want to be play versus mode where you can be the infected or the survivors!  I want to play the Hunter...and the Boomer!  xD  OH!  And we got the coolest game ever!  Well...not exactly but if you're a fan of the Dynasty Warriors games then you'd enjoy it.  It's called Dynasty Warrior Gundam!  Yep, GUNDAM!!!  Basically a hack and slash game involving gundams!  It's pretty awesome and I really enjoy it!

Besides the Xbox, I got fabric for my Hong Kong cosplay!  ^_^  I'm already done with the pants and the leg warmers/wraps, and I'm half-way done with the shirt.  (It would have been finished by now but I'm obbessed with play Left 4 Dead)  ^^   But it looks awesome so far!  And I'm really excited about it too!  BTW Miranda is already done with her South Korea outfit!  O_o  I'm jealous....  :P

Now I just need to get fabic for my nurse's costume for Silent Hill!  ^_^

Okay so as Tokyo in Tulsa goes, I really enjoyed it.  It's one of those cons that's small but big enough that there's always something to do.  Hanging out with friends at the bar was fun and raving as Bumble Bee was amazing!  Sky Pirate was awesome and I'm so glad that he took pictures of us. 

Evil Twins won the cosplay contest (skit division) with Metal Gear Ouran!  ^_^  We were happy about that and it was fun to preform.  I made Vic sign our codec prop and also explained to him the skit and just sent him an e-mail today to a link of the skit since he wanted to see it.  ^^

Mary you're awesome and I love hanging out with you!!!  YOU NEED TO COME TO NEBRASKON AND HANG WITH US THIS YEAR!!!! 

The Voice Actors were hilarious especially Travis and Vic at the Ouran Panel.  OMG with the zombie question my sister asked them.  It was the best answer ever.  You guys should check it out on youtube!  ^_^
